Project Description
Through recorded video interviews, IUPUI veterans—including students, faculty and staff—will share stories of their experiences transitioning into their roles at IUPUI and their ongoing involvement in empowering others to shape university culture. By doing this, IUPUI veterans hope to enhance diversity initiatives, support student success and retention, and increase faculty/staff engagement. During video production, the interviews will be shown to small groups to assess audience feedback and understanding. When completed, a larger viewing will be scheduled for the entire IUPUI community. This project will help to fill the gap in knowledge of military culture and to promote a sense of belonging for members of the IUPUI military community.
