IUPUI has embarked on a search for a new dean of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. The dean of SHRS is the chief academic and administrative leader of the School. Reporting to Executive Vice Chancellor Kathy Johnson, with key relationships throughout IUPUI, the dean is responsible for building the capacity and capabilities of the School; moving associated programs forward in reputation, distinction, and influence; and seeking collaborative opportunities and creating strong cooperative bonds within SHRS, with other programs at IUPUI, and within the IU system.

IUPUI awards degrees from both Indiana University and Purdue University. For fiscal year 2015-16, the campus total operating budget was $1.3 billion.
