Biography

J. Timothy McGinley is a principal of House Investments, which has created almost 80 investment partnerships that own and manage $800 million in residential and commercial real estate. Activities include raising equity capital, arranging financing, property acquisition, property management, and partnership administration. Previously McGinley served as deputy assistant secretary of labor in Washington, D.C., and was section dean at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, serving on the Admissions Board, the Financial Aid and Fellowship Board, the Student Personnel Board, and the College Visiting Committee.

McGinley is chairman of the Purdue University Board of Trustees and serves on the boards of Vectren Corp., Waterfield Mortgage Co., KeyBank, and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He has twice been named Sagamore of the Wabash, was a White House fellow, and has received the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award and Outstanding Chemical Engineering Alumni Award from Purdue University. He received the Big Ten Centennial Athletic Award and has been inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
