J. Timothy McGinley

Biography

Tim McGinley is the founder and a principal of House Investments, a real estate investment firm.  Activities include raising equity capital, arranging financing, property acquisition, property management and partnership administration.  Previously, he served as deputy assistant secretary of labor in Washington, D.C, and was section dean at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration serving on the Admissions Board, Financial Aid and Fellowship Board, Student Personnel Board, and the College Visiting Committee. 

Mr. McGinley is chairman emeritus of the Board of Trustees of Purdue University and serves on the board of Vectren Corp.  He has been named Sagamore of the Wabash by three Indiana governors and was a White House Fellow, and has received an honorary doctor of engineering degree, the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award, and Outstanding Chemical Engineering Alumni Award from Purdue University.  He received the Big Ten Centennial Athletic Award and has been inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. 

Mr. McGinley received his bachelor's degree in elementary education from Purdue University.  He received his Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
