Biography
Ralph Taylor is an independent consultant and an employee of Purdue Sports Properties where he is the radio color analyst for Purdue men's basketball. Ralph is currently Purdue University's representative on the Big Ten Advisory Commission and serves on a variety of boards and committees such as Asian American Alliance Inc., Teachers' Treasures, YMCA DIG Committee, Indiana Sports Corp CHAMPS Committee, and the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
Mr. Taylor previously worked for Welcoming Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Mayor's Office of International and Cultural Affairs. During his career, he has been a grants officer for the Central Indiana Community Foundation, director of community service for the Indiana Youth Institute, recreation administrator for Indy Parks, an extension educator for the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service, and a teacher for Indianapolis Public Schools.
Mr. Taylor is past president of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis. He is also a past president of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
He received his B.S. in Health and Kinesiology from Purdue University. He was selected in 1995 as one of the top four fan favorites in Purdue basketball history and was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 2001.
