Biography
Jeannie Sager is a nonprofit executive with more than 25 years of experience in health care, higher education, and independent school leadership. She is the director of the Women's Philanthropy Institute, part of the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. She served on the leadership team that created the IU Health Foundation, providing oversight for fundraising for IU Health's adult academic health center (Methodist, University, and IU Health Simon Cancer Center). She has also served as director of advancement at University High School in Carmel, Indiana, as director for the IU School of Medicine Dean's CounciI and special programs, and as a development director with the IU Foundation in Indianapolis.
Jeannie currently serves as chair-elect of the IU Alumni Association Board of Managers. She is a longtime member and past president of the IUPUI Alumni Council and received the Maynard K. Hine Medal in 2017. In service to women and girls, she serves on the board of Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis and is a founding board member for Women for Change Indiana.
Jeannie earned her master's degree in philanthropic studies in 2003 from Indiana University and a bachelor's degree in international relations in 1994 from Rollins College.
